Chiling Chen from Agricultural Chemistry Division Taiwan Agricultural Research Institution (TARI) talks about practice of 4 per 1000 initiative in Chinese Taipei which is correlates with France presented the "4 Per 1000 Initiative: Soils for Food Security and Climate" at the 21st Congress of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change in 2016 (COP21).
In this presentation, we understand that agriculture and agricultural soils can play a crucial role where food security and climate change are concerned. To engage stakeholders in a transition towards a productive resilient agriculture based on a sustainable soil management and generating jobs and incomes, hence ensuring sustainable development.
We provide plan for 4 years. In 2017 has begun to implement, including three categories and build two new industries to create a sustainable agricultural resources recycling.
Echo with the main topic of carbonization for Biochar, zero waste, technology innovation and new industries.
